Fiber Systems International, a world-class, engineering based company focused on the development and manufacturing of fiber optic connectors, cable assemblies, and interconnect technology systems for commercial and military applications, has opened operations in Allen, Texas.
The company has leased 50,000 square feet in the Cornerstone Crossing building in Allen, on the northeast corner of US 75 and Exchange Parkway. The facility houses their headquarters and manufacturing operations with over 80 full-time employees.
“Recognized for it’s global leadership and excellence in fiber optic interconnect technologies for the military, industrial, broadcast and telecommunications markets, Fiber Systems is a welcome addition to Allen’s business community,” noted Charisse Reaume, Executive Director, Allen Economic Development Corporation.
Fiber Systems is continuously developing new products in order to accommodate the high fiber counts the commercial telephony market employs.
The company manufactures Tactical Fiber Optic Cable Assembly (TFOCA) connectors that facilitate high-speed communications between strategic military operations around the globe. These connectors are also an integral part of the technology used by broadcasters to bring enhanced replay “Eye Vision” to viewers of the NCAA Final Four basketball and PGA tournaments. Fiber Systems has developed patented technology used exclusively by all US ground based forces.
“We are very pleased and excited about moving our corporate headquarters to the elite technology corridor of Allen, Texas”, said Daniel Roehrs, President and CEO of Fiber Systems International, Inc.
Mike McCartan of Mark V Commercial Real Estate handled the lease negotiations for the building owner. Adam Faulk of Jackson-Cooksey represented Fiber Systems.
