Four companies were given awards for the “2016 Best Economic Development Projects” at the Allen EDC’s annual Holiday Party.
IntelliEPI won this award for breaking ground on their new 68,000 SF office and manufacturing facility. IntelliEPI is relocating from Richardson, and will bring 75 jobs and $20 million in investment. Read more about this project in the Allen American.
Technology Headquarters Campus
Watchguard Video, the world’s largest manufacturer of law enforcement video systems, won this category with the announcement of their new 200,000 SF headquarters. With their new campus, Watchguard plans to grow up to 700 employees and invest $46 million. Read the press release here.
Compass Data Centers and Tierpoint each won an award for breaking ground on the $20 million first phase of their data center project. When completed, the data center development will house six data center pods with upwards of $125 million in investment. Read more at the Dallas Morning News.
