Three companies received awards for the “2017 Best Development Projects” at the Allen Economic Development Corporation’s annual holiday party in December. All three companies broke ground or signed a lease in 2017 and are expected to move into their new locations in 2018.
NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC, (NASDAQ: NTCT), a leading technology provider, will be relocating their regional research and development office to One Bethany at Watters Creek in summer 2018. The company, a leading provider of business assurance- a powerful combination of service assurance, cybersecurity and business intelligence solutions – will be leasing a new state-of-the-art, 145,000-square-foot office building from Kaizen Development Partners and relocating over 500 employees to their Allen facility. The Class A, three-store facility will feature an outdoor courtyard, fitness center and cafeteria, and parking garage for exclusive use of their employees.
CyrusOne, (NASDAQ: CONE), a premier global data center REIT, will be building a new state-of-the-art data center campus, consisting of three phases. Construction on the facility begin in October 2017. The first data center will be approximately 340,000 square feet, bringing CyrusOne’s total footprint in Texas to over 1.7 million square feet. Upon completion, the site’s three data centers will offer more than 100 megawatts of available power. The new facilities will have access to multiple cloud providers and allow direct access to one of the largest fiber hubs in the United States.
BossFight Entertainment, the renowned video game development company, will be relocating their headquarters to One Bethany East in 2018. The company will be leasing 13,500 square-feet of office space in One Bethany East, the first building under construction on One Bethany at Watters Creek, a 17-acre, multi-phase, corporate office park in Allen, Texas by owner/developer Kaizen Development Partners.
