Kristina Holcomb has been an active member of the AEDC Board of Directors since 2019, following a three-year tenure with the Allen Community Development Corporation Board.
In her professional capacity, Kristina is the Dallas Metro+ Executive at AECOM, a global engineering firm. She leads business growth and client engagement in the region and facilitates collaboration across all AEDCO business lines. Kristina's extensive background includes over 25 years of service in the public sector, where she notably managed operations, capital projects, real estate, funding strategies, long-range planning, and policy formulation.
A long-time Allen resident, Kristina, alongside her husband Chad, is a proud parent to two sons—one a student at Allen High School and the other, a proud graduate of Texas A&M.
Brent is an Allen resident and previously served as a Planning & Zoning Commissioner for the City of Allen. He is currently a board member and treasurer for the Twin Creeks Homeowner Association and is involved in several community engagement efforts for Allen ISD.
Brent works as a consultant for management and capital markets and volunteers as a Rotarian through the Rotary Club of Allen Sunrise.
Ben began his insurance career after graduating from Harding University in Searcy, AR in 1996. He has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and is President of Patterson & Associates Insurance Agency, an IIABA Best Practices Agency, consistently recognized as a “Best Places To Work” in Dallas.
Ben has served on several insurance company national and local advisory councils and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas. He holds both the Certified Insurance Counselor, CIC, and Certified Risk Manager, CRM, designations. Ben was recognized in the Dallas Business Journal’s 2013 List of “40 Under 40”s.
Ben and his wife Rachel have three children and have lived in the Allen since 2002.
Emad Siddiqi grew up in Allen, Texas and previously served on the Board of Adjustments, Building and Standards Commission and Sign Control Board for the City of Allen. During his time with the Board, he acted in a quasi-judicial capacity to review land use regulation and court orders for enforcement of standards.
With a B.S. from U.T. Dallas and a J.D from OCU School of Law, his background includes data integration, corporate governance and contracts. His primary expertise is in Intellectual Property and he currently works for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He volunteers his time with different community organizations including Allen CERT and local Inventor groups.
Councilman Chris Schulmeister has a long history of community service in Allen and North Texas. Prior to his 2019 election to Allen City Council, Schulmeister served on the Allen Economic Development Corporation Board (2016-2019) and the Allen Community Development Corporation Board (2011-2016). He was the finance committee chair for Allen’s 2016 Capital Improvement Program.
In addition to his work on City Boards, Schulmeister has served on the boars for Allen Community Outreach, Allen Sunrise Rotary and First United Methodist Church Allen. He was president of the Allen High School “Home Run” Booster Club and served on the steering committee for the Collin County Martin Luther King, Jr. Appreciation Day Service.
Schulmeister holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of North Texas and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
