The Allen Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) provides a variety of services to help companies relocating to Allen.

These incentives are awarded on a case-by-case basis according to the type of industry, capital investment, annual payroll and number of jobs created.

 
Welcoming & Introductions

We understand that relocating to Allen isn’t just about moving a business—it’s a time of transition for employees and their families. Staff at the AEDC, the City of Allen, and the Allen Independent School District will work closely with the company to welcome new employees and their families to our community and make their transition as smooth as possible.

In fact, companies moving to Allen enjoy life-long partnerships, which immediately begin with exclusive services that we offer to existing businesses, including workforce training programs, an annual job fair, and more.

Building/Site Search

AEDC can assist companies in their search for space and schedule tours.

Additionally, companies can search for available properties using our Online Property Finder.

Research & Data

Allen has a dedicated Economic Development Analyst to help businesses work smarter.

We can provide custom research, reports, and maps on demographics, workforce, transportation, retail market potentials, and more.

Permitting & Development

The City’s Community Development Department is the one-stop shop for development services in the city.
